ART AREA Room 19 have been enjoying art by Keith Haring so we decided that we would have a go at his art and it went very well. Room 19 all had fantastic pieces of art. Then we got all of the rest of the A Team to have a go at the wonderful pieces of art. When we had finished, some of us had made up some questions about art and other activities. Now we are finding questions that we would like to research about and learn about but some of us are doing other topics. Three people are up to finding out how to find out their two questions and looking on the internet. Room 19 is focused on a lot of things about art but some of us are more focused on other things. Now some of us are up to answering our two questions and solving our topics. My class had Art Attack and what you do in art attack is you have two days full on with art and in term one my class made a garden with plants, mosaic and hopefully soon to be mini waterfall.

LITTLE BIT ABOUT THE STORY This book is fantastic if you like open endings/mystery books, this is for you! This book is about a girl called Baba and she is only 12 years old and she already has to look after a lot of people and find water at the same time for them.One day she finally finds a lovely world but she doesn't know that there's evil in the land.Baba gets fooled and puts everyones life in danger and can't escape.Then people start to go missing and no one knows how... then everyone starts looking and finds them in a little piece of land.But the people are asleep and not waking up but they are not dead... What will happen next? Find out more by reading this fantasic book in your spare time!

A thirteen year old boy sails to England to find his long lost brother but the boy, Sam, does not know that this ship is cursed. Sam realises that the sea is a dangerous place and hits a cliff and has to survive. They put up with challenging decisions but through the eight months they stay on that island they learn life long lessons.

CHOICES INQUIRY In term one I had a project called Choices Inquiry and I had to think about some questions related to my topic.My topic was art history and my two questions were... When was the first piece of art made and Who made the first piece of art. I found the answers in a book at the school library and the best part about it was when the answers were put into one answer.The way I presented it was an art stand with my facts (made on keynote) and a nice colour of red to top the stand of and to support red (pukeko) house. RED HOUSE In my school we have houses because our hall is getting fixed. My house is RED HOUSE and we ROCK!The other houses are...yellow house,blue house andgreen house .The houses get points for school activites like duathlon, cross country and athletics and much more.The house that has the most points after the activites gets a special trophy. MISS GARDNER Miss Gardner was the fantastic student teacher Room 19 had.Miss Gardner knew her stuff and was the best student teacher I have ever had and I really miss Miss Gardner, she was a fantastic teacher and was really fun to have around. SAFE JOURNEY'S MISS GARDNER!!!
SAUSAGE SIZZLE!! This term every two weeks there will be a sausage sizzle for kids at Selwyn Ridge. The fantastic sausages are only $2 each !!!The fund - raising is going towards better camp activities and to help some families that can't afford camp for their children or child.You can get the amazing sausages at the courts or near Room's 4 and 3. Please support the A Team by buying a sausage every two weeks. Speeches This term in the A Team we are learning about pursading for our speeches and the three types of speeches which are...Entertanment, Pursadsion and Imforming. My speech is one Animal Cruelty and how serious it is and you guessed it my topic is dead serious and tells you a lot of new things and important things to know about Animal Curelty.
A Team Twilight FeteThe A Team Fete is to fundraise for our A Team Camp and is also a competion with all the A Team classes.Room 19 is thinking of ideas and are deciding our groups soon.Help us by buying some of our prouducts.
